Die aktuelle "911 & Porsche World" Nr. 3 ist mal wieder voll auf dem 964er-Trip. Der Associate editor Philip Raby hat selbst einen 964 C4, und jetzt ein Buch geschrieben: "Ultimate Buyers' Guides - Porsche 911 (964) - 1989-1994". Hab's schon bestellt!

Zur letzten Kritik über den "turbolüfterartigen Sound": Als ich 2x den 993 zur Probe gefahren bin, fand ich die Stille dort langweilig. Noch schlimmer war es im Boxster S - ich sehnte mich geradezu nach der haptischen und akustischen Kulisse im 964er, und dem Blick über die "Torpedorohre"... der 964 ist der allerschönste 911er für mich!
Immer wenn ich einen 964 sehe, geht mein Herz auf - wie bei einem Verliebten. Und meiner in amethyst-metallic beamt mich geradezu weg, ich könnte reinbeißen vor Lust! Auch wenn ich in der öffentlichen Meinung fast ausschließlich negative bis häßliche Kommentare für die Farbe meiner DIVA ernte: Ich liebe sie mit dieser Farbe! Ich wollte diese Kombination unbedingt! Ich will keinen langweiligen schwarzen, silbernen oder blauen Porsche wie "man" ihn zu haben hat. Nein! Denn dieses Brombeer-Knallbonbon IST ES einfach. BASTA!
