All right, no more machine translation. Until Babelfish can distinguish a piece of coiled steel from the season after winter, I'll just have to fumble along in English, and assume that most Europeans are multilingual.

The car has many components that are not correct to the period, and it would raise a lot of eyebrows at a concours or car show. But it does assemble components from all of the air-cooled 911's in a way that -- I hope -- retains some design integrity. It's no museum piece, but it does go fast around the track.

Before I crashed it at Laguna Seca, it had a more mild look, similar to the Carrera RS, but -- again -- with many departures from the original. (Click for a larger version.)
